What is so interesting about this day? For the first time, Black Friday began to be called the day in Philadelphia, on which there were very large traffic jams on the roads due to the fact that Thanksgiving Day falls on the 4th Thursday of November, and on Friday, as a rule, everyone returns home from their relatives. That was in 1966. Now “Black Friday” is Friday, after Thanksgiving Day, which opens the start of New Year's sales, usually Black Friday falls between November 23 and November 29.
It is very interesting and strange that in China there is an analogue of “Black Friday” - November 11 (11.11). Why strange? Bachelor's Day - a Chinese holiday, which is celebrated on November 11 and is dedicated to those who are not married. 2013 was notable when Alibaba, the largest online marketplace, expanded the practice of holding discounts on the Internet on Bachelor’s Day. Then the world record of online sales in the Internet was broken: for the first hour of work 3.1 billion dollars were in circulation.
“Black Friday” is a real holiday for shopping lovers and good discounts, it is on this day that you can buy goods at really good prices. Some people are waiting for this holiday more than Christmas or New Year. Frequently, sales start at 00:01, and people take a line before midnight or at night, and shops can open much earlier than usual - basically, this is the foreign practice of sales and discounts on Black Friday.
This year, “Black Friday” falls on November 23, and this tradition has been trying for several years to conquer Ukraine. Why is "trying"? Because fabulous discounts are very hard to find, sometimes a week before there is an artificial overpricing, and sometimes they just interrupt price tags. BUT! Nevertheless, on this day you should go shopping because there is a great chance to find good things at really good discounts. In practice, discounts are around 15-30%, and this is not bad.
